Concept Car Starting next year carmakers from all over the planet will be competing to see who can make the first car that can average 100 MPG, as well as be economical, green, and practical; in other words, marketable. The winners of this project will receive up to $10 million in cash prizes, among other things, such as bragging rights and an opportunity to make even more money.

Can you imagine getting 100 MPG with a car? That would be heaven for me, especially since my Chevy Tahoe only gets 15 MPG, costing me on average $100 each week, more than the typical college student can handle for gas. It’s about time such concept cars are being taken into consideration and the repetitive crys about gas prices may have an end in sight.

Economical, green, and practical are great for marketability, but don’t forget appearance. The Jetsons was a cool cartoon, but I don’t want my car to look like Mr. Jetson drove it (unless it folds into a briefcase). Why must all fuel efficient cars look so weird? (i.e. the Prius)

Unfortunately you pay a premium for fuel efficient cars such that it takes a decade or so to break even on money saved on gas.

cool lookin car… i want one of those! @_@

Is it really safe though?

Please, can you tell me few more thinks about this, I am really fan of your blog.

If you can come up with a generic comment then i might let you keep your link.
